Attendees
Yes. There is no cost to attend and no materials to purchase.
Town Hall for Hope will take place live nationwide on April 23, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. EDT. It should last approximately 90 minutes.
Dave will be live on stage at the Oklahoma City campus of LifeChurch.tv.
The Town Hall will not be available for home viewing on the internet. You can attend the event at one of our 6,000 host locations across the country. To find one close to you, use our ZIP code tool.
No. Attendees will not need any kind of study material.
Yes! Host organizations on the west coast may choose to run either the live feed at 5:00 p.m. PT or the official delayed west coast feed at 7:00 p.m. PT.

Host Locations
Yes. If you have the technology required to host it, there is no cost to you.
As a host church, you agree to aggressively promote the event and be responsible for your own marketing expenses. However, we have designed a promotional suite with print materials and video for you to use for free. You will just need to cover the cost of printing.
No. This event will be streamed to host locations via a broadband internet connection. No satellite technology or simulcast partners will be required.
Yes. We have made test streams available on our Technology Check page.
You can use word of mouth and media of any kind. You also have access to a professionally designed suite of promotional items, including print materials and video, when you register.
As long as the computer meets the minimum technology requirements, there should be no problem with either a laptop or desktop setup.
While it is possible to stream with a wireless connection, we strongly encourage all host organizations to use a direct, wired connection for best results.
Organizations should test the stream provided on the Technology Check page before registration. On April 16, all registered host locations will receive a second stream for mandatory testing to validate their computer and display settings.
The interest survey that was emailed to some churches in early March was only designed to gauge interest and did not register your location. Only churches who register online through this website will be host organizations.

No, this is not a political event. Dave will review a short history of capitalism and American economics, including a snapshot of different recession periods of the last 60 years. This will provide the economic-not political-background needed to properly understand what is happening with the economy today.
Yes. You need to conduct these mandatory tests to ensure that things will run smoothly the night of the event. If you have technical issues during the test, please contact our technical support team. If you are unable to conduct these tests and verify that it worked, you will not receive the live event stream.
Log in to your custom dashboard to make sure that your location is marked as a public venue. Your location must have a seating capacity of 100 or more to be listed in the search results.
The online dashboard is a resource for host organizations, which allows them to:
- Edit the venue's expected attendance and capacity
- See how many people in the community have stated their intention to attend at that specific location
- Post notes next to their venue listing on our location search page
- Disable/enable our web registration feature
- View the number of locations and expected attendance around the country
- Receive important updates about the event
The online dashboard is available only to registered host locations. To access the dashboard, you will need to request a direct link. To do so, please visit the Host page and follow the instructions under "Already Registered."

The test links are sent in an email to the main contact and the technical contact the day of the event.
